top 10 lists of 2008

i figured that it would be pretty cool if everyone posted their top 10 or so favorite of whatever for 2008. then we can check out what everyone got into during the year and hopefully get into it as well. i am planning on just doing top musical releases, in the hopes that maybe someone else might be intrigued by some of the stuff that i was intrigued by. likewise, it would be cool if people posted top however-many of other kinds of shit as well as music. i was hoping to put up an example of a different type of top ten, but i think that everyone could come up with a better idea that suits them well. so here are mine:
