from what i read, nooch isn't activated unless its eaten with another kind of food though. could be wrong, but if so the nooch is doing nothing but providing a discomforting texture and unpleasant taste.
bah! that article is silly, It also says, don't drink more than 14 drinks a week, or be obese. and get your b12. they also include vegetarians, that usually eat cheese and drink milk. either way, silk soy milk contains just as much b12 as milk. the title is "eating veggies shrinks the brain" which is not true according to the article as they are referring to b12 deficiency. ah, now i'm pissed off at dumb journalists.
its okay cecilia, i was pissed off after reading the article too. i guess its just our shrunken brains unable to comprehend such superior journalism =[
The participants in the study were between the ages of 61 and 87...I doubt I'm really going to care(if I reach that age before our species kill each other off) if I have an insignificantly smaller brain. Personally, I have shown no deficiencies so far in my blood tests...and that's without supplements. But if I do, vegan vitamin supplements(including b12) are in easy access at the neighborhood health food store.
